How to choose a free e-signature tool
Check the real limit. “Free” often means three to five documents a month. If you send more than that, you’ll hit a paywall at the worst moment.
Check the evidence. A signature image proves little on its own. Look for consent capture, an audit trail with timestamps and IP addresses, and a certificate attached to the signed document.
Check what you’d lose. Suites like Adobe Acrobat and PandaDoc bundle PDF editing or proposal building. If you need those, a dedicated signing tool won’t replace them. If you just need documents signed, you shouldn’t pay for extras.
