Terms of Service
Last updated 5 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and mndok (“mndok”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using mndok to send or sign documents, you agree to them. If you use mndok for an organisation, you agree on its behalf.
1. The service
mndok lets you upload documents, send them to others for electronic signature, and keep a record of the signing process. mndok is provided free of charge: we don’t charge for accounts, documents or features. We may add, change or remove features over time, and we’ll give reasonable notice of changes that significantly reduce what you can do.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. Keep your password and API keys secure; you’re responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at hello@mndok.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Your documents
You keep all rights to the documents you upload and the information you collect. You give us permission to store, process, display and transmit them only as needed to run mndok for you and the people you send them to. We don’t sell your documents or use them for advertising.
4. Your responsibilities
- You’re responsible for the documents you send, for having the right to share any personal data in them, and for choosing whether an electronic signature is appropriate and legally sufficient for each document and place.
- Some documents require handwritten, witnessed, notarised, or advanced or qualified electronic signatures. mndok provides simple electronic signatures only.
- You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy and all laws that apply to you, including laws about electronic communications and personal data.
- When you send a document, you tell signers about the records mndok keeps, including email open and link tracking, through the disclosure they accept before signing.
5. Signers
People who sign through mndok don’t need an account. When they open a signing link, accept the electronic signature disclosure and sign, the relevant parts of these terms and our Privacy Policy apply to them too.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep mndok available and your documents safe, but we can’t promise uninterrupted service. Keep copies of signed documents you need; you can download them at any time.
7. Ending your use
You can stop using mndok at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or that put other users or the service at risk. Where reasonable, we’ll give notice so you can download your documents.
8. Disclaimers
mndok is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t give legal advice, and we don’t guarantee that any document signed through mndok will be enforceable in every situation.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Because mndok is free, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to USD 100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
10. Indemnity
You agree to compensate us for claims and costs arising from documents you send, your breach of these terms, or your breach of law, except to the extent caused by us.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If you’re a consumer, you also keep any protections the law of your home country gives you.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For significant changes we’ll give notice by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use mndok after that means you accept the updated terms.
